Detroit Dee (real name) Denryc Hill is a music artist with a mission to upgrade the music industry and do his part to help make the world a better place with a wave of thought conscious tracks that stear away from overly negative content on his new music journey. By considering the nature of his art and not saturating it with Negative lyrics and still deliver authentic bold catchy music that is timeless. Genre bending and edgy creativity is also something to look forward to as his style evolves. Current day focused on trendy sounds, hard beats and catchy hooks. Money motivation style with creative word play refering to entrepreneur endeavors. Plus all time greatest hits kind of energy in his soulful mode.
His life story is about change. And his accolades range in the Major league of entertainment. Being from Detroit, MI. He grew up in the streets but always had potential to excel in other things, especially entertainment. At the young age of nine years old, Denryc was already in acting programs and on network TV community stations on Comcast. He later earned certification in video promotion from Comcast.
Having moved to Atlanta in 2014 When Atlanta was booming in the movie and TV production industry. He was able to make his mark with hundreds of appearances in most of the Major Production Movies and Shows that were filmed in atlanta. He gained notoriety of working with top level names in the industry.
Accomplished this after navigating the rough streets of Detroit growing up in the dope game and life of crime. He has since then, wrote a book that is on Amazon called “Make it happen” (5 steps to greatness) that gives advise on the mindset he applied to accomplish his goals. Change was the hardest thing for him to overcome. And now headed in this direction, his new music endeavor is sure to be interesting. Being that he is not just some new rapper on the block… he actually independently generated a million dollars From his mixtapes by cd and DVD sells that he filmed and edited himself. and traveled the East Coast and southern states. Has and independent movie on TV, Awesome TV, Stah TV and Urban TV channel on Roku and other platforms.
After experiencing his life in detroit and comparing it to the change that he made and then relocating to Georgia… with all this and mind recognizing the importance of the music That people consume and How important it is to be mindful of the content. Instead of blaming rappers and the music industry, he decided to make music that he wanted to hear.
